Big Jules

For no really good reason, I thought I'd post a home movie made of my family during the Yuletide season.

Hey, it's a home movie -- you expected quality? :-)

Happy New Year!

Doesn't pay to argue with toes, it always ends in defeat.

I can't believe I just said that.

Happy New Year!

Great family video. We had a Wii Christmas last year and somehow the then 5 and 8 year old boys knew all about how to hook it up and start playing. It is fun to watch them when they play. Some of the have a little mouth action that seems to help also.

A home movie to record those quiet moments before the cat goes beserk, the teen throws a tantrum, the wife serves popcorn....

Our lives are made of this stuff.

"Great" might be stretching things a bit. :-)

But thanks a lot, and a happy 2010 to you!

I so enjoyed this, John. Tell me - was that your lovely accent we could hear there? And your family are most attractive.

As for the Wii - we got it when it first came out, played with it incessantly and now it is just something else to dust that doesn't get used much.

Anyway my friend - have a Happy New Year and I'm delighted you joined the blogosphere

Good. We saved a lot of money by using a local announcer who was willing to work for a piece of Christmas fruitcake. :-)

Aww. We have a "Big Jules" in our family, too. He's always been the expert at all the electronics, and is my personal computer tech. He's 23 now. How did that happen?

With our setup, Big Jules -- i.e., young Julian -- gets to play with the thing only when he visits his grandad, so he can't get enough of it.

As I am delighted to have joined. Have yourself a merry little twentyten!

They do that, Willow, if you don't watch them.

Thanks, Dedene. You were one of my first visitors, and one of the best.

Feliz ano nuevo!
